Weather I like it or not, my dad is definitely the most influential person in my life. Being a half century old automatically qualifies him as an expert in many different fields. Bert is never hesitant to correct something the moment he sees it is wrong. Often confused for a perfectionist or someone who only wants things done his way. Rather he just doesn’t work well with others opinions and knows exactly how to do everything the correct way. Even though he may sometimes come off rude, or irritable he always means good. It is easy to get mad when being corrected, but when my dad tries to tell me something I may not always at first notice it but I really do listen. I may not realize it immediately but usually after being punished, normally I do change my ways and eventually agree with my dad.
My dad has taught me everything from throwing a baseball, to math, to life lessons like personal integrity and honesty. My dad isn’t perfect but truthfully he cares about me more than just about anyone and I really do appreciate that.
